Support Services

From food give-aways to working within the health community developing nutrition-based solutions for those with devastating diseases, we have the potential to make real and positive change in the community.

In June – September 2020 BGG responded to our underserved population on Buffalo’s East Side while working with volunteers from other local organizations to distribute over $100,000 of free food – even door to door! Colleges, Universities, Businesses, and Organizations include: University at Buffalo, Canisius Collage, Buffalo Center for Health Equity, Hamlin Park Taxpayer’s Association, Buffalo Urban League, Buffalo Peacemakers, and Harmac Medical Products.

As we partner with Urban Fruits & Veggies – produce grown by them will be available weekly in the African American Heritage Co-op Food Boxes. The Co-op is located at 2616 Highland Ave. in Niagara Falls, New York.
