Buffalo Go Green, Inc. provides services and training to under-served populations throughout Western New York while helping to develop young minds to become leaders in Green Industries and Agriculture. We also fight food injustice and provide fresh produce, food and meals to the underserved population in our region.
Our work in 2020 was “slightly” altered due to COVID-19. But, we delivered – over $100,000 of fresh, healthy food, provided snacks for the Mayor’s Summer Fitness in the Park along with Blue Cross Blue Shield and others, worked with youth in developing urban farms in their neighborhoods, and although we had delays with our Holistic Wellness & Agricultural Education Center Capital Campaign, we still got the word out, meeting with potential partners and funders.
