Skillet Peach Crumble

This dessert is healthy and super delicious. Featuring fresh peaches with rolled oats and brown sugar- what’s not to like?
INGREDIENTS:
2 fresh peaches
2 tablespoons butter cut in squares
1/4 cup rolled oats
4 teaspoons brown sugar,
2 teaspoons whole wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 whole peach
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Peaches are prevalent in Western New York arriving in abundance in late summer. DIRECTIONS:
- Heat skillet over medium heat then add 1.5 tablespoons butter, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1/4 cup rolled oats, 2 teaspoons flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt & cinnamon to skillet Stir until toasted, about 3-5 minutes.
- Pour into bowl. While crumble mixture is cooking, slice peaches into 1/4 inch slices.
- Once crumble is out of the pan, add remaining butter (1/2 Tbsp), brown sugar (1 tsp), 1 teaspoon lemon juice to the skillet and stir until the peaches are soft
- Pour into bowl with oat crumble.
- Top with ice cream if desired
